Child and traffic rules material on the topic. Traffic rules for child pedestrians Traffic rules for children

The urgency of ensuring road safety is growing, and this is due to the increase in the number of cars on the roads. In such conditions, compliance with traffic rules for children, who are the most vulnerable category of road users, becomes of great importance. Accidents that happen to children on the roads are most often caused by: entering the roadway in an unknown place in front of nearby traffic or because of a bus, trolleybus or other obstacle; playing on the roadway; walking along the roadway. The child performs these actions due to his inability to assess the real danger that threatens him on the road. Therefore, traffic rules for preschool children and schoolchildren are of great importance for preserving their life and health, and parents should instill in their children respect for the Rules and the awareness that their strict compliance is mandatory.

It is very useful to focus children’s attention on the Rules when in a traffic situation, where you can visually teach the child to navigate and assess the situation on the road. Parents should not hope that their child will be taught how to behave on the road, in kindergarten or school. They are obliged to use every opportunity to form and develop in children the skills of correct behavior in the surrounding road transport environment. In this context, the positive example of adults is very important, since it is on this that children’s perception of the laws of the road is based. And if parents themselves cross the road in an unspecified place or neglect traffic signals in the presence of a child, then it is naive to hope that the child himself will follow these rules. Therefore, you should tirelessly teach your child to be attentive and careful on the road; point out mistakes made by road users; consolidate the acquired knowledge about safe behavior by reading books, poems and, of course, do not forget about encouraging the child’s positive habits in correct behavior on the road. We must remember that there are no trifles in matters of child safety, and it is always easier to prevent trouble than to overcome it.

Naughty pedestrian
A road runs through the forest,
The traffic light is blinking strictly.
Everyone is rushing to the transition:
From moose to mice.
Sometimes across the street
There are a lot of pedestrians
Jumps, walks, flies,
Runs, crawls.
The hedgehog's mother taught
Mom threatened with her finger:
- Remember the rules, baby!
If the light is red, stop!
If it's yellow, just wait
On green - go ahead!
Naughty pedestrian
I did the opposite!
The hedgehog was in a hurry
And rolled into a ball
Straight to the red light!
Is it possible? Of course not!
The brakes squealed
And he closed his eyes.
Old fat dump truck
He beeped and growled:
- I barely stopped
Almost fell off the road!
What, you don’t know the rules?!
Well, quickly march into the bushes!
I'll give you some advice, hedgehog:
Don't go through red lights!
The hedgehog quietly panted:
- Sorry, I didn’t mean to.
The traffic light told us:
The hedgehog has improved since then.
Knows the order best of all
Doesn't break anything!

Traffic rules for children.

Traffic rules for pedestrians. Pedestrians must move on sidewalks or pedestrian paths, and if there are none, along the roadsides. If there are no sidewalks, pedestrian paths or shoulders, and if it is impossible to move along them, pedestrians can move along a bicycle path or walk in a single row along the edge of the roadway (on roads with a dividing strip - along the outer edge of the roadway). When walking along the edge of the roadway, pedestrians must walk towards the movement of vehicles. When driving along the side of the road or the edge of the roadway in the dark or in conditions of insufficient visibility, pedestrians are recommended to carry objects with reflective elements and ensure that these objects are visible to vehicle drivers. Groups of children are allowed to drive only on sidewalks and pedestrian paths, and in their absence, along the roadsides, but only during daylight hours and only when accompanied by adults. Pedestrians must cross the roadway at pedestrian crossings, including underground and overground crossings, and if there are none, at intersections along sidewalks or curbs. If there is no crossing or intersection in the visibility zone, it is allowed to cross the road at right angles to the edge of the roadway in areas without a dividing strip and fences where it is clearly visible in both directions. In places where traffic is regulated, pedestrians must be guided by the signals of a traffic controller or a pedestrian traffic light, and in its absence, a transport traffic light. At unregulated pedestrian crossings, pedestrians can enter the roadway after assessing the distance to approaching vehicles, their speed and making sure that the crossing will be safe for them. When crossing a roadway outside a pedestrian crossing, pedestrians must, in addition, not interfere with the movement of vehicles and exit from behind a standing vehicle or other obstacle that limits visibility without making sure that there are no approaching vehicles. Once on the roadway, pedestrians should not linger or stop unless this is related to ensuring traffic safety. Pedestrians who do not have time to complete the crossing must stop on the line dividing traffic flows in opposite directions. You can continue crossing only after making sure that further movement is safe and taking into account the traffic light signal (traffic controller).

Rule one. Choose a safe place to go. If there is no pedestrian crossing or crossing with a traffic light nearby, choose a place where you can clearly see the road in all directions. Do not try to get onto the road between parked cars. It is important that not only you see the road well, but also that you are clearly visible to any driver. Having chosen a place suitable for crossing, wait and look around. Rule two. Before crossing, be sure to stop before stepping onto the roadway and carefully inspect the road. You need to stand at the edge of the sidewalk, stepping back a little from the curb - so that you can see the approaching cars. Rule three. Look around and listen. The car may leave unexpectedly. But if you are careful and keep your ears open, you can hear the car approaching even before it becomes visible. Rule four. If a car is approaching, let it pass, then look around again and listen for other cars nearby. When the car passes, you need to look around again. In the first seconds, she can obscure the car that is driving towards her. Without noticing it, you can fall into a “trap”. Rule five. Do not enter the roadway until you are sure you have enough time to cross. Only after making sure that you are completely safe, slowly cross the street. Cross it only at right angles. Rule six. When crossing the street, continue to monitor the road in order to notice a change in the situation in time. The situation on the road changes quickly: cars that were parked can move, those driving straight can turn; new cars may emerge from an alley, from a yard, or around a bend. Rule seven. If during the transition there is suddenly an obstacle to your vision (for example, a car has stopped due to a malfunction), carefully looking out from behind it, inspect the rest of the path. If necessary, stop and let the driver pass you.

Traffic rules for cyclists

Persons at least 14 years old are allowed to drive a bicycle when driving on roads, and persons at least 16 years old are allowed to drive a moped. Bicycles and mopeds must move only in the far right lane in one row as far to the right as possible. Driving on the side of the road is allowed if this does not interfere with pedestrians. Columns of cyclists must be divided into groups of 10 cyclists. To make overtaking easier, the distance between groups should be 80 - 100 m. Bicycle and moped drivers are prohibited from: riding without holding the handlebars with at least one hand; carry passengers, except a child under 7 years of age, on an additional seat equipped with reliable footrests; transport cargo that protrudes beyond the dimensions by more than 0.5 m in length or width, or cargo that interferes with control; move along the road if there is a bicycle path nearby; turn left or turn around on roads with tram traffic and on roads with more than one lane for traffic in a given direction. It is prohibited to tow a bicycle trailer intended for use with a bicycle or moped. At an unregulated intersection of a bicycle path with a road located outside the intersection, drivers of bicycles and mopeds must give way to vehicles moving on this road.

We adults should take into account that every third child,

The victim of a traffic accident was a passenger in the car.

This proves how important it is to follow these rules:

1. Fasten your seat belt yourself and your child at all times! Including in someone else’s car, and when driving short distances. If this rule is automatically followed by adults, then it will easily become a permanent habit for the child.

2. If possible, children should occupy the safest seats in the car: the middle or right side of the back seat, as it is safe to step directly onto the sidewalk.

3.As a driver or passenger, you are also a constant role model. Do not be aggressive towards other road users, do not scold them. Instead, explain to your child what the mistake of other road users is. Calmly admit your mistakes.

4. During long trips, stop often. Children need to move.

Traffic rules are a topic that can and should be regularly repeated and refreshed in children’s memory. And do this throughout the school year and the summer recreation period. However, simple cramming is a very boring and ultimately useless activity.

Useful materials in this thematic section will tell you how to diversify your traffic rules lessons with children, make them easy, fun, playful and entertaining. And most importantly, they contribute to the high-quality assimilation of the material. For your convenience, we have systematized the publications in this section. Without spending a lot of time, here you can easily find the required lesson notes, GCD; or a holiday script dedicated to traffic rules; or practical advice on making an interesting didactic game or manual. The topic of creating thematic layouts, corners, and game centers for studying traffic rules was also not left unattended.

Children are supposed to know the rules of the road!

Every day thousands of people walk around the city, and no less number of vehicles travel. To ensure order reigns in the city and there are fewer car accidents, pedestrians must adhere to the rules and traffic signs. It is important to teach growing children the rules of the road so that you can be calm about them when they go outside without a parent. You can teach your child the rules of behavior on the road in a playful way or in poetry so that he doesn’t get bored.

Traffic rules for pedestrians

If every person follows traffic rules, there will be harmony in the city and the number of traffic-related accidents will decrease. In addition to the rules, there are also road signs for children, the essence of which is also important to explain to them.

Rule 1: You can move on transition paths and sidewalks on the right side

Rule 2: Driving at night

  • When driving along the edge of the roadway or on the side of the road at night, it is necessary to have reflective strips on your clothing or a flashlight in your hand so that drivers can see the person.

Rule 3: Crossing the road

  • To cross the road, you should find a traffic light and turn when its light is green.
  • If there is no traffic light, you can find a Zebra sign. When crossing a zebra crossing, you need to look first to the left so that there are no cars, then to the right.
  • There are underground passages for crossing streets with the appropriate sign, you can walk there calmly, there is no traffic in them.
  • If the child is small, he must hold the hand of an adult.
  • When crossing the road, you must not stop or linger on it. If you were unable to cross in time, you should wait for the green traffic light again, being on the line separating the two carriageways.
  • If there is no traffic light or crossing, you must wait until the traffic stops completely and cross the road quickly and at a right angle.
  • You can cross the road with a bicycle only if you carry it next to you.

Rule 4: When leaving public transport

  • When getting off the bus at the desired stop, you should walk around it from behind, first making sure that no other vehicle is following it.
  • When getting off the tram, you can wait until it leaves the stop. If you don’t have time to wait, you can go around it in front, after first seeing if there is another tram moving towards the first one.

Rule 5: Movement of groups of people

  • The movement of large groups of people must be organized, in columns.
  • If there is not enough space on the sidewalk, you can walk on the roadway towards traffic.
  • In front and behind the column, accompanying persons should walk at a distance of 10 - 15 meters with red flags and flashlights in their hands (at dusk and in the dark). The person in front must carry a white flashlight, and the person behind must carry a red one.
  • Columns of children can only be led along sidewalks or pedestrian paths. In extreme cases, you can go out onto the side of the road to meet traffic, but not in the dark.

Rule 6: Pedestrians are prohibited

  • If you go out or run out onto the road or pedestrian crossing suddenly, the car may not have time to brake.
  • Go out onto the roadway without first looking to the left and making sure that there is no danger.
  • Cross the road not at a traffic light or at a zebra crossing if the road has more than three lanes in both directions.
  • Linger or stop on the roadway when crossing.
  • Children of preschool age can go out onto the roadway independently without adults.
  • Children are prohibited from playing near the road, even near the house; there are playgrounds for this.

Traffic rules in verse

Traffic rules are very important for the safety of children. To make learning fun and memorable, you can read and learn poems about traffic rules and signs with your kids.

Verse 1:

The city where

You and I live

You can rightfully

Compare with the ABC book.

ABC of the streets,

Avenues, roads

The city gives us

Lesson all the time.

Here it is, the alphabet -

Overhead:

Signs are posted

Along the pavement.

ABC of the city

Always remember

So that it doesn't happen

You're in trouble.

Verse 2:

The traffic light is waiting for us to visit.

Illuminates the transition.

The red eye lit up:

He wants to detain us.

If it's red, there's no way.

Red light - you can't go.

Yellow light - not very strict:

Wait, we have no way yet.

The bright yellow eye burns:

All the movement is worth it!

Finally a green eye

Opens the way for us.

Striped transition

Waiting for young pedestrians!

Verse 3:

We stood at the crossing,

There is a traffic light in front of us.

And with all the honest people

He looks at us point blank.

His red eye opened

So, he wants to say:

No matter how you rush,

You must stand now!

Here he blinks his yellow eye.

Get ready, he says!

How can I close this one - at once

The third eye will be open.

The third eye glows green,

All the cars stood in a row.

Can we go, (name),

Mom and dad are talking.

Verse 4:

A road runs through the forest,

The traffic light is blinking strictly.

Everyone is rushing to the transition:

From moose to mice.

Sometimes across the street

There are a lot of pedestrians

Walks, jumps, flies,

Runs, crawls.

The hedgehog's mother taught

Mom threatened with her finger: -

Remember the rules, baby!

If the light is red, stop!

If it's yellow, just wait

On green - go ahead!

Naughty pedestrian

I did the opposite!

The hedgehog was in a hurry

And rolled into a ball

Straight to the red light!

Is it possible? Of course not!

The brakes squealed

And he closed his eyes.

Fat old dump truck

He beeped and growled: -

I barely stopped

Almost fell off the road!

What, you don’t know the rules?!

Well, quickly march into the bushes!

I'll give you some advice:

Don't go through red lights!

The hedgehog quietly panted: -

Sorry, I didn't mean to.

The traffic light told us:

The hedgehog has improved since then.

Knows the order best of all

Doesn't break anything!

Verse 5:

And avenues and boulevards -

The streets are noisy everywhere

Walk along the sidewalk

Only on the right side!

Here to play pranks, disturb people

Prohibited!

Be a good pedestrian

Allowed.

If you are traveling on a tram

And there are people around you,

Without pushing, without yawning,

Come forward quickly.

Riding like a hare, as is known,

Prohibited!

Give the old lady a seat

Allowed.

If you're just walking,

Still look ahead

Through a noisy intersection

Pass carefully.

Crossing at red light

Prohibited!

When it's green, even for children

Allowed.

Verse 6:

If you need to go

Across the road for you

To this end, along the way

There are always transitions!

Transitions can be

Different, guys!

So as not to forget it

You need to study the signs:

There is a sign "Underground passage" -

The steps lead down!

Come down boldly and go -

After all, there is no movement here.

With a striped path

There is a sign at the zebra

You guys should know

That this is not a trifle:

Crossing the zebra crossing

First make sure

That all cars cost -

Then hurry up!

Verse 7:

Sometimes there are no transitions at stops

Need to cross the road?

Know one secret:

You got off the bus

Go around behind

If you want the way

Go straight ahead.

If you were on a tram,

It's the other way around -

We go around the tram in front,

Let's look forward.

In general, even more reliable -

Better wait

And when the transport leaves,

Then go.

Verse 8:

We need to cross the street

But there is no traffic light on the way.

Cars rush past noisily.

But there is no reason to worry:

There is a special transition for us,

People call him “Zebra”.

We boldly walk the striped path,

Drivers, wait a little!

Let's look right and left first,

So that there is no danger,

And the striped transition friend

He will lead us across the road.

Verse 9:

Do you think it's a bicycle?

Real transport?

No! Remember: on the roadway

It's hard to avoid disaster!

If you have a bicycle,

But, I haven’t grown to the required age,

It's better to ride in the yard.

It's safe for kids there.

Verse 10:

For those who live in the city,

An underground passage is needed.

It's easier to cross the road

We're taking the underground path.

Cars can't move there

There are only pedestrians there.

It takes a lot of time and effort to teach a child the rules of the road. Every time you go outside, you should repeat the basic rules with your child in an unobtrusive manner. Soft conversations will yield more positive results than screaming and crying.

Role-playing games based on traffic rules for children of middle preschool and senior preschool age

"Signs on the roads"

Goals of the game: determine how children have learned traffic safety rules; consolidate knowledge about traffic lights; clarify children’s knowledge about the work of traffic police officers, consolidate the meaning of his gestures; to cultivate in children attentiveness, intelligence, and the ability to follow traffic safety rules; be polite to others.

Equipment for the game: pedal cars - 2 pcs., tractors - 2 pcs., horses - 3 pcs., bicycles - 4 pcs., strollers with dolls - 9 pcs., jumping ropes - 7 pcs.

A set of tools for vehicle repair: keys, pump. Posters on stands, stencils of road signs, a whistle, a pointer, armbands with the inscriptions: “Druzhinnik”, “Patrol”, “Staff Police Officer”, traffic light cape.

Progress of the game

First, the children's attention is drawn to the guests, and the children are told that the goal of the game is to repeat the rules of the road.

Children greet guests. From among the children, a traffic police inspector, a vigilante, two auto mechanics, and also one who plays the role of a traffic light are selected at will.

Drivers, having exchanged vehicles, take their cars and ride. Children continue to play with toys.

Throughout the game, police and patrol assistants keep order, make comments, and even offer to the offenders to drive the car for inspection. When the children have driven in two circles, the sign at the turn into the group changes: the “U-turn” sign to the “Right Turn” sign, and the police traffic controller prohibits driving at intersections. Then the children change transport. All the children on the sidewalk are divided into two teams. The presenter says: “Be careful and try not to violate traffic safety rules for both transport and pedestrians.” Children playing the roles of traffic lights, auto mechanics, vigilantes and traffic police inspectors are invited to take their places on the playgrounds. The first column goes for a ride to the traffic police site. A car mechanic checks and inspects the vehicle, and the children drive by. The second column goes onto a straight road and rides, observing the rules of turning and driving at traffic lights. At the beginning of the departure, the mechanic checks the vehicle and allows you to go. Children with toys walk along the pedestrian crossing onto the lawn and play. As needed, they, observing the rules of transition, go to play on another lawn.

After 10 minutes, the traffic light suddenly goes out and a whistle signal draws the attention of drivers and pedestrians to itself. The traffic light is damaged, who can replace it? (Children's answer: policeman-regulator.)

A traffic policeman comes in and the children greet him. He meets them and explains that he learned that they were playing on the traffic police site and came to check how the children know traffic safety rules.

Transport drivers drive along the main road, at the turn onto the straight road they give way to passing traffic and join them at the end, driving out onto the straight road. The traffic controller gives signals, the children behave accordingly.

"Drivers, pedestrians, cars"

The game can be played on a floor model or on a kindergarten transport site.

Goals of the game: to consolidate the rules of behavior on the road for all road users; teach children to simulate various situations on the road.

Equipment for the game: a model of an intersection, road signs for the model, masks on the head or chest, signs with types of transport, attributes of a traffic controller, a traffic police inspector.

Progress of the game

Children distribute roles among themselves (roles of traffic controllers, transport drivers, roles of public transport, pedestrians are offered). The teacher can initially act as a traffic controller or traffic police inspector who will monitor the correct implementation of the rules by the participants in the game. The game unfolds from the following plots: an accident occurred; a child ran across the road; the driver violated traffic rules; movement of all road users in accordance with the signals of the traffic controller. During the game, participants can change roles. After the game, the teacher invites the children to discuss who performed their role best and why.

"Travelling by Transport"

Goal: to strengthen children’s skills of correct behavior in transport.

Equipment for the game: layout of an intersection, road signs for the layout, masks on the head or chest, signs with types of transport, attributes of a traffic policeman, traffic police inspector.

Progress of the game

Children independently distribute roles among themselves, each decides what type of transport he will drive. Other children choose which transport passengers they would like to be. The teacher, in the role of presenter, turns on the yellow or red traffic light and calls the stops. In addition to passengers, there is a conductor in the transport who sells tickets to passengers. The plot of the game can be developed in different directions, starting with the one who interferes with the driver, ending with the fact that the passenger was inattentive and passed his stop. After the children have the skill to play this game, the teacher can only take the position of an observer.

"Bus depot"

Purpose of the game: to consolidate children's knowledge about the bus, about the features of driving a bus, about what a bus driver should be like.

Equipment for the game: mechanics set, construction set, steering wheel, children's chairs, traffic light.

Progress of the game

Children distribute among themselves the roles of bus drivers, mechanics, bus fleet director, and passengers. The plot may unfold in the direction that an accident occurred or the bus broke down, it is necessary to return the bus to the bus depot and repair it. Drivers and passengers tell the mechanics what happened along the way (children's creativity), and the mechanics respond by suggesting how to correct the situation.

Goals: to consolidate children’s ideas about transport, the features of its structure, and movement; teach children to find the right solutions from the current situation.

Equipment for the game: large cars, mechanic's set, floor layout, road signs.

Progress of the game

Children distribute the roles of mechanics and transport drivers among themselves. Drivers come to the auto repair shop and talk about breakdowns in their car. Mechanics offer drivers to fix breakdowns and talk about the rules of driving a car.

"Gas station"

Goals of the game: to introduce preschoolers to the fact that transport requires gasoline to move; teach rules of behavior at a gas station.

Progress of the game

The roles are distributed: drivers of any transport and gas station workers. The plot may unfold around the fact that transport drivers need gasoline for their cars. Station workers serve drivers upon requests, tear off their coupons, take money, and give change if necessary.

"Colored Cars"

Children are placed along the wall, they are cars. Each player is given a flag of some color. The presenter raises the flag, and those “cars” with the same colored flags continue to move, and if the presenter lowers the flag, then the children-cars go to the garage. The leader can raise all the flags at the same time, and then all the cars move.

"The fastest"

Everyone draws a circle for themselves (with green, yellow, red crayons) and stands in it. The presenter stands in the middle of the platform. At his command: “One, two, three - run!” - the children run away. The presenter says: “One, two, three - run into the traffic light!” and he himself tries to occupy some circle. The one who does not have time to take the circle becomes the leader.

"Automobile"

The box contains a disassembled model of a car. At the leader's command, the players begin to assemble the model. The team that assembles the car first wins.

"Traffic Light and Speed"

Two tables. Two traffic light layouts. At the command of the presenter, the first numbers run to the traffic lights and dismantle them, the second ones assemble them. Still others take it apart again, etc. The team that assembles the traffic light first wins.

"To your flags"

The players are divided into three groups. Each group stands in a circle, in the center of which there is a player with a colored (red, yellow, green) flag. At the first signal from the leader (clap your hands), everyone except the players with flags scatter around the court. At the second signal, the children stop, squat down and close their eyes, and the players with flags move to other places. At the command of the presenter “To your flags!” children open their eyes and run to the flags of their color, trying to be the first to line up in a circle. Those who are the first to line up in an even circle and stand holding hands win.

"Let's draw the road"

A road is drawn on the ground. Children jump over it. The width of the road is gradually increasing. The winner is the one who jumps over the road at the widest point.

"Running traffic light"

1st version of the game. Children follow the leader in all directions. From time to time the presenter raises the flag, then turns around. If the green flag is raised, the children continue moving, if the leader raises the red flag, then the children stop.

2nd version of the game. Children receive flags of b-A colors: some are green, others are blue (red), others are yellow - and are grouped in groups of 4-6 people in different corners of the room (area). In each corner, the teacher places a colored flag (green, blue, yellow) on a stand.

At the teacher’s signal “Go for a walk,” the children disperse around the playground (room) in groups or alone. At the signal “Find your color,” children run to the flag of the corresponding color.
